FUSD works in partnership with local agencies to provide support for students to access mental health services. In 2020, the Arizona legislature passed "Jake's Law" which created a fund that provides uninsured and underinsured children access to behavioral health services when they are referred through an educational institution-otherwise known as "school-based referrals."
Our local agencies to provide services under this Mental Health Block Grant are The Guidance Center and Southwest Behavioral & Health Services. You can contact The Guidance Center by calling (928) 527-1899 or access information at The Guidance Center. You can contact Southwest Behavioral & Health Services by calling (928) 779-4550 or access information at Flagstaff Outpatient.
Information about the Community Mental Health Block Grant is located here.

By sharing the Be SMART message, you are helping to emphasize the importance of responsible gun ownership and secure gun storage. Ultimately, secure gun storage prevents kids from accessing guns. When we protect our kids from the dangers of gun violence, the whole community stands to benefit.
