Ignite student engagement through real-world learning. Flagstaff Unified School District is proud to be part of the CommunityShare national network, which provides educators with a powerful platform to find and connect with community partners to co-create engaging, real-world learning experiences with students.
Through CommunityShare, you can browse a human library and connect for free with community partners via the CommunityShare digital matching platform. Quickly create a profile and post projects and event ideas. Then the digital matching platform connects you to community partners with the skills, knowledge, and experience you seek to serve as guest speakers, mentors, project advisors, and more.
Local Flagstaff-based stewards also support educators to assist them in finding partners and planning real-world learning projects. Staff can come to your school to present about the platform and highlight ways to support you and your colleagues.
Kathleen Malkhassian is a FUSD resource for you if you want to talk through a project idea or partner need. Contact her at kmalkhassian@fusd1.org.
