Housing Resources

Below are resources for shelters and affordable housing in the Flagstaff area.

If you have any questions on how to apply for these programs, please contact your McKinney-Vento Liaison.

  • Logo for "Front Door," featuring a house icon with a heart, emphasizing its mission to end homelessness.
  • Flagstaff's Front Door Program
    • The front door program is the first step for housing through Catholic Charities and Flagstaff Shelter Services. This intake usually takes between 30 minutes to an hour, and after that intake we will better know what programs you qualify for.
    • After this, you are placed on waiting lists and are expected to check in with their front door specialist every 30 days to stay active on those lists, as there is no defined timeline of when a person will be pulled,, it can be a few months, or it can take up to a year or two.
    • You will not have a housing case manager until you are pulled off of the waitlist and are enrolled in a housing program.
  • Flagstaff Shelter Services
