Good afternoon, FUSD Families and Staff, 

Due to the current weather conditions that could impact the safety of participants this evening, all in-person FUSD after-school activities and activity buses are canceled for today, January 8, 2026.

If your student typically rides the late bus home, they will take the bus at their school’s regular dismissal time today. If you typically pick up your student from after-school activities, please make arrangements to pick them up at their school’s regular dismissal time. 

Alternative bus stops will be utilized this afternoon for Munds Park, Mountainaire, and Kachina Village at the following locations and times:

High School, Middle School, and Puente de Hózhó

• Munds Park: Munds Park Post Office at approximately 5:00 p.m.

• Mountainaire: Mountainaire Country Store at approximately 4:35 p.m.

• Kachina Village: Kachina Village bus loop off Tovar Trail at approximately 4:10 p.m. (Route 811) and 4:20 p.m. (Route 812) 

Kinsey Elementary School

• Munds Park: Munds Park Post Office at approximately 3:25 p.m.

• Mountainaire: Mountainaire Country Store at approximately 3:00 p.m.

DeMiguel Elementary School

• Kachina Village: Kachina Village bus loop off Tovar Trail at approximately 2:50 p.m.

FACTS families are encouraged to pick up their students from FACTS as soon as safely possible this afternoon. FACTS staff will remain onsite as long as necessary. Please notify your site FACTS program if you will be picking up your student from school so they can remove your contract and prevent a no-show fee.
