Dear FUSD Families and Staff,

The November 3 General Election is quickly approaching, and we want to share a final reminder about the two FUSD override measures on the ballot, along with information on how and where to vote.

What's on the Ballot for FUSD?

  • Proposition 407: Would continue FUSD's existing Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Override, which provides approximately $9.7 million annually for staffing and educational programs, including full-day kindergarten, preschool, arts, STEM, advanced academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities.

  • Proposition 409: Would establish a new District Additional Assistance (DAA) Override, providing approximately $2.5 million annually for capital needs, such as curriculum materials, textbooks, furniture, equipment, facility improvements, safety upgrades, and technology.
