Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Flagstaff Unified School District!

Step 1. Axe of Service

The first step to volunteering with FUSD is to complete your registration through Axe of Service at AxeofService. Once registered, you can select the schools, departments, or areas that interest you and “Become a Fan” to receive updates about upcoming volunteer opportunities. To learn more about the Axe of Service program, visit fusd1.org/volunteer.

Step 2. FUSD Volunteer Packet

Complete the FUSD Volunteer Form to indicate the schools where you’d like to volunteer, provide your contact information, select your volunteer level, and agree to the volunteer terms and conditions. Before submitting your form, please take a moment to review the FUSD Volunteer Handbook for important guidelines and expectations.

Step 3. Complete your BIB and/or IVP

You may be required to complete a BIB background check at BIBScreening and/or submit an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Step 4. Volunteer!

After completing the steps above and receiving approval to volunteer, you can begin signing up for opportunities through Axe of Service. Schools or departments may also contact you directly with volunteer needs and upcoming opportunities.
