Welding Technologies I CT49A/B
Grades: 9 -12 College Prep: Yes Credit: 1.0 Duration: 1 year Fee: $30.00 & DE fee
The purpose of this course is to teach the student basic fundamentals of common welding processes. Covered in the course are Industrial Safety, Oxy/Acetylene Welding (OA), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC). Students will use standard industrial tools, materials, and equipment while learning in an applied setting.
Welding Technologies II CT62A/B
Grades: 10 -12 College Prep: Yes Credit: 1.0 Duration: 1 year Fee: $40.00
This course will further develop the skills learned in Welding I. Students will begin out of position welding including vertical, horizontal and overhead welding. Students will increase skills through teacher driven project building and fabrication techniques.
Welding Technologies III CT63A/B
Grades: 11 -12 College Prep: Yes Credit: 1.0 Duration: 1 year Fee: $40.00
This class will increase student skills and knowledge through hands on advanced fabrication techniques and procedures. Students will design and build projects as approved by the instructor. Students may be involved in community service projects for the school and district.
