Career and Technical Education

  • Career and Technical Education, or CTE, programs are based on industry standards and community industry input. Students can earn a wide array of industry-recognized certifications while in high school and can even receive college credit through partnerships with colleges and tech schools.

These programs provide scaffolding to build upon skills so that students become lifelong learners ready for careers or further schooling in their field of interest. The skills that students learn prepare them for jobs in high-skill, high-wage careers and also prepares them for college and higher education.
