    Killip’s Lego Robotics summer team won second place in the ANGLeS Challenge, which advanced them to the Final Four challenge. Killip successfully won the Final Four round and received a prize trip to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas this August.

    Tobacco 21, an ordinance that prohibits the sale of tobacco and nicotine products to those under the age of 21, passed unanimously in the City of Flagstaff on July 2nd, 2019, with the help of many organizations, including students at Flagstaff and Coconino high schools.

    New Mount Elden Middle School Principal Announced

    Kinsey Inquiry and Discovery School Principal Tammy Nelson has been appointed as the new principal for Mount Elden Middle School following the recent appointment of Tom Safranek to the position of Career Exploration Coordinator and Instructor. Principal Nelson had previously served as assistant principal at Mount Elden School before serving as principal at Kinsey for three years.
