Average Teacher Salaries

  • With the Governing Board adoption of the school year budget, the Flagstaff Unified School District has an average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2020 of $50,560. As a comparison, the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2019 was $48,639, an increase in average teacher salaries from the previous year of $1,921 or a percentage increase of 4%.

  • MEMS Students Promote Literacy and Community

    On Monday, February 10th, 2020, approximately 160 students from Mount Elden Middle School visited Kinsey Elementary and DeMiguel Elementary to promote literacy and community. The middle school students read to K-5 classes, practiced literacy skills, and built relationships with the younger students!

  • Rivalry Girls Soccer Match

    On Thursday, February 6th, 2020, the Flagstaff and Coconino girls soccer teams competed in a crosstown rivalry game. The Flagstaff Eagles took the 3-0 win after scoring all three goals all in the second half. Check out more photos from the game here!

  • FHS Student Places at FBLA Region 4 Conference

    This past weekend, 13 Flagstaff High School (FHS) students traveled to Wickenburg, AZ for the The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Region 4 Conference. Over 45 schools and 800 members traveled to compete in a business related objective tests and multiple performance based competitions including marketing, management decision making, sports and entertainment management, and more.

  • Flagstaff Community STEM Night 3/9/2020

    The seventh annual Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Walkup Skydome located on the Northern Arizona University campus. The event is a community event supported by various community partners to bring families together for participatory events promoting STEM.

  • FHS Presents the Diary of Anne Frank

    The Flagstaff High School Advanced Acting Class Presents: The Diary of Anne Frank. The evening will consist of an educational walk-though showcase prior to the show with guidance from NAU faculty, the theatrical presentation of The Diary of Anne Frank by the FHS Advanced Acting class, and a talk-back after the show by the production team and the actors.

  • FUSD Hosts Kindergarten Open Houses 2/5/20

    The Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) elementary schools will be hosting Kindergarten Registration on February 5th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at all FUSD elementary schools to assist families with the registration process. The event is an opportunity for families to tour the school, meet teachers, and pre-register for the 2020-2021 school year.
