02/21/24 | Flagstaff High School baton twirler showcasing her talent
Cheyenne Sorenson, an 11th Grader at Flagstaff High School, has been baton twirling for eight to nine years. Baton twirling is not exactly the top sport kids run to, but it caught the attention of Cheyenne in second grade. She thought it was a unique sport to learn.

02/21/24 | FUSD receives 43 Stop the Bleed control stations from Northern Arizona Healthcare
Last month, Flagstaff Unified School District received 43 Stop the Bleed control stations from Northern Arizona Healthcare. The stations have been installed at school sites across the district to help save lives and stop life-threatening bleeding during an emergency.

02/02/24 | FUSD receiving two new electric school buses
Flagstaff Unified School District will get two new electric buses with an EV charger and other infrastructure to maintain the buses thanks to a partnership with school bus vendor RWC Group. RWC was awarded over 40 electric buses through their grant, and two buses are designated for FUSD along with funds to maintain them.
