Dual Enrollment

  • By enabling students to earn both high school and college credits from single high school courses, dual enrollment is an important component of the preparation and pathways FUSD offers. Through FUSD partnerships with Coconino Community College and Yavapai College, students can earn college credit during their normal school day, from FUSD teachers in FUSD facilities and classrooms. The nearly 50 such opportunities are provided at reduced or no cost to students / families, while encompassing a variety of courses from Career & Technical Education and the Arts & Sciences. These robust dual enrollment partnerships result in 60% of FUSD graduates having participated in a dual enrollment opportunity during high school - far above the state average of 24%.
